Need help with ZooTales? I'm happy to assist.
Contact: christoph.weidinger.work@gmail.com
Please include your iPhone model and iOS version, the ZooTales version from its App Store page, and a short description of what happened — plus the chapter and level you were playing and the word involved, if it's about a specific word. I typically reply within a few business days.
Common questions
That's intended. Remove Ads permanently ends the full-screen interstitials between levels and doubles the coins you earn for finishing a level. The optional “Free hint” and “Double coins” videos stay available as bonuses you can take if you want them — nothing plays unless you tap it.
Open the shop and tap Restore Purchases, making sure you're signed in to the same Apple Account you bought with. Hint packs are consumable and are spent as you use them, so only Remove Ads is restored. If it still doesn't unlock, email me.
ZooTales is free because of its ads. If several ads in a row couldn't be shown — usually because the device is offline or an ad blocker is active — the game asks you to reconnect and watch one before continuing. Connecting to the internet and tapping Reconnect & Try Again fixes it; with Remove Ads this never happens.
Open ZooTales's Settings. Where consent applies (the EEA, UK and Switzerland) there's a Privacy options row that reopens Google's consent form so you can review or withdraw your choices. Apple's separate tracking permission lives in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. Details are in the privacy policy.
Each level has its own target words, and anything else valid counts as a bonus word. Bonus words are checked against the dictionary built into iOS, which covers contemporary vocabulary — so archaic spellings, names, and abbreviations often miss. Send me the word and the level and I'll take a look.
On your iPhone, and — if you're signed in to iCloud — also in your own iCloud, which keeps it in sync across your Apple devices and brings it back after reinstalling. ZooTales has no accounts and no server. If iCloud is turned off for ZooTales, deleting the app erases your animals and progress. Purchases live with your Apple Account and can be restored afterwards.
Solving target words and finishing levels earns coins; bonus words earn treats too. A hint reveals one letter, and three hints let the keeper radio solve a whole word. In the shop you can trade 100 coins for a hint or 10 treats for two, buy hint packs, or watch an optional video for a free one. Reaching milestones in a chapter prepares keeper meals — feed them to your rescued animal at the keeper station to help it grow through its four life stages.
ZooTales is available in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and Dutch, each with its own puzzles, and follows your device language by default. You can override it in Settings › Language; restart ZooTales afterwards for the change to fully take effect.
Settings has separate switches and volume sliders for background music and sound effects. ZooTales follows your silent switch and mixes with your own music or podcasts instead of interrupting them.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by ZooTales. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com with the Apple Account you purchased with.
